How did Chhanchhan happen to you. It was extremely sudden. I was doing Jai Jag Janani Maa Durga in Baroda and I got a call but as I was extremely busy I didn’t pay much attention to it. When I reached Bombay I got a call again for an audition and following 2 days I got a call – I was selected. It was a nice shock, as I didn’t think much regarding the audition.
It was extremely sudden and unexpected, so it was a different experience. Tell a bit regarding character in Chhanchhan as Himanshu. Himanshu is a extremely lively and funny role, he is a extremely cheerful go lucky guy. He neverever gets affected along with what Umaben affirms, as he is extremely innocent so even when he is being taunted he feels like someone is caring for him. Himanshu is a extremely loving role, and as watched he even quickly falls in love along with a lady.
He is even watched making silly jokes, so you can basically say – the whole humor part of the TV serial falls on him to keep the audience laughing. I am extremely cheerful to play Himanshu, as it is stimulating in a way, as I need to TV serial – he is so cute and innocent. How different is Himanshu from Dheeraj. They are extremely different. Himanshu is someone who is extremely innocent and cute, that I am not in real life.
Himanshu doesn’t understand the real meaning for words, while in I understand extremely quickly by looking at the different person whether he/she likes me or not. Over all Himanshu is shown as to be extremely innocent, that I am not in. When I was told regarding Himanshu’s role, I might think how can anyone be so innocent. How is the atmosphere on the sets of Chhanchhan. It is real fun, everybody is in the same age group, so there are no issues or attitude problems.
Even Sanaya Irani is extremely sweet, me and Srman Jain sit together and enjoy. Even though Farhan Khan is a newcomer I am enjoying working along with him. Along with whom do you bond the most on the sets. I mostly shoot along with Farhan so my bonding along with Farhan has been extremely good and will continue being good. Due to the latest storyline of wild camp the bonding ’tween me and Srman has been important as well, as we know each different before the TV serial.
We all six pairs at the time of the wild camp get a important bonding. You were in the industry for some yrs now, how has the journey been. I am greatful to God – I completed 7 yrs in that industry without any Godfather. I feel I done good work but I have not got credit for it. I was a bit disappointed along with the kind of reviews I got before doing that TV serial.
I did a TV serial on Star One Annu Ki Ho Gayee Waah Bhai Waah, and I had a good character in it, similar to Himanshu but along with grey shades. By God’s grace I began that yr on a extremely good note, I began along with Jai Jag Janani Mai Durga and then got Chhanchhan. For the past 7 yrs in the industry I watched a lot of ups and downs, that has been a learning process. Out of all the TV serials you done, that is the closest to heart. It is a extremely tricky question actually, but at present closest is Chhanchhan.
Last yr, I did Jamuna Paar that was extremely close to me as well, as I had a good performance based character of a guy who wants to become an artist. Earlier I did Ganesh Leela as Naradji, that gave me a lot fame, my dad used to call me Naradji. My dad was a bit old in his thinking and he knew of few guys from the industry like Dheeraj Kumar, so he used to tell me why do not you do a Dheeraj Kumar TV serial. He didn’t know how all things works in the industry. So following all that happened I felt like dad gave me his blessings and all that happened for me.
What interests you different than acting. Actually I do not think apart from acting. I love cricket and I love dancing, so different than acting I either play cricket or celebration. What kind of telivision TV serials do you see. I am a television freak, so I see all things, and keep a story of all the TV serials.
I like TV serials like Qabool Hai, and in Bade Ache Lagte Hai on Sony television I like the chemistry ‘tween Ram Kapoor and Saakshi Tanwar. On Star Plus (Star TV’s leading Hindi language Chanel) I like Pyar Ka Dard Hai Mitha Mitha Pyara Pyara and Yeh Rishtaa Ka Kehlata Hai and sometime back I liked the Buddy Project on FOX International Chanel’s Chanel V. I like TV serials that target youngsters and love stories. I do not like the rona-dhona TV serials. Nadia Malik .
How did acting happen to you. Well, I acted in a lot of act the part of at the time of my school and college days. I was interested in theatre and acting as childhood. When I was in college, I took it up professionally and joined a theatre group. I gave an audition for India Calling in Delhi where I was told – I was good along with acting but too young for the role and hence cast me for Remix.
Its how it all began for me.
that is the role closest to you heart out of the ones you’ve played till date. I enjoyed playing all the roles. Nevertheless, my very best-loved might be my role Vedant in the TV serial Viruddh that became extremely high TRP and was acknowledged by guys too. In fact, my mom adored the role, so I will stick to -.
I put equal effort in all the roles I played so far.
that role played by you can you relate along with. All the roles I played had a little of me in it, be it the negatives or positives but I relate totally to the role of Raj that I played in Mere Dad Ki Maruti. How was it working along with Ram Kapoor in Mere Dad Ki Maruti. It was a extremely nice experience working along with Ram Kapoor.
He is like a riot on the sets. Ram lets everybody eat along with him, he makes everybody laugh and dancing along with him too. He is like a little kid and a crazy man on the sets. He treated me like a younger bro. Though he used to behave like a person 10 yrs younger to me, he is like an elder bro to me.
We had a lot of fun filming along with him. Any memories – you might like to share along with us while you shot for the film. We used to shoot and celebration till late. The song and masti actually made us feel as if we were filming for a wedding. All things was so wonderful and working together was enjoyable.
One such cheerful memory I is when we made our director Aashima Chibber dancing to the steps of Hip Hip Hurrey.
along with whom do you bond the very best along with on the sets of Amrit Manthan. I bond the very best along with Adaa Khan on the sets of Amrit Manthan. We common interests and we worked together in Behnein too. She was the first person to welcome me on the sets.
She gets yummy food and thats the reason why I bond along with her ha, ha kidding!
What kind of character are you looking forward to play in the future. I am open to playing any character be it big or small. My criteria is a good script that ultimately gives birth to good roles. So, I am looking forward to take up good scripts and work along with good guys.
What interests do you different than acting.
I love playing football, cricket, kick boxing, gymming and swimming. In fact I enjoy all kinds of sports. What is plan for the future. Will we watch you in more btown films. Any person who comes to Bombay from any different place, aims to be like Shah Rukh Khan, to get a body like Salman Khan and act like Aamir Khan.
How far one can go, depends upon the talent of the person. Everybody’s aim is forever to be at the top. I am doing my very best and am cheerful doing -. Anwesha Kamal.

But in my assessment of where I want to reach, I know I get a long way to go. So I choose not to get satisfied,” he said. Why does he avoid news Chanels. “I am not too comfortable along with the news Chanels.
If it was up to me, I might not come in front of the news Chanels at all. I might only do my work. “But I know news Chanels is a part of the industry.
